Bring Your Own Model (BYO)

The ability to plug any model API or local model into a tool.

Bring Your Own Model means the coding tool itself is separated from the underlying AI model. You supply an API key (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek) or point at a local runtime (Ollama, LM Studio), and the tool handles everything else. Aider, OpenCode, Continue, and Cline are all BYO-model.
